Savory lima beans

Ingredients

2 | cups | Fresh lima beans; shelled |
2 | slices | Bacon |
½ | cup | Water |
1 | tablespoon | All-purpose flour |
2 | tablespoons | Onion; chopped |
1 | tablespoon | Brown sugar |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Celery salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Paprika |
Directions
Cook lima beans, covered, in boiling salted water 20 minutes or until tender; drain well.
Cook bacon until almost crisp; drain and set aside.
Gradually add water to flour, stirring until smooth. Combine lima beans, flour mixture, onion, and next 4 ingredients, mixing well.
Pour into a lightly greased 1-quart baking dish. Place bacon on top.
