Sesame pork ribs

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup Packed brown sugar
2⅔ tablespoon Soy sauce
2⅔ tablespoon Ketchup
1⅓ tablespoon Honey
2 teaspoons Cider vinegar
1 Clove garlic; minced
teaspoon Ground ginger
teaspoon Salt
dash Red pepper flakes; to 1/2 tsp.
1⅔ pounds Country-style pork ribs
medium Onion; sliced
2 teaspoons Sesame seeds; toasted
2 teaspoons Chopped green onions

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Add ribs and turn to coat. Place the onion in a 5-quart slow cooker; arrange ribs on top. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160 to 170 degrees. Place ribs on a serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Yield: 6 servings.
