Sesame pork ribs

¼ | cup | Packed brown sugar |
2⅔ | tablespoon | Soy sauce |
2⅔ | tablespoon | Ketchup |
1⅓ | tablespoon | Honey |
2 | teaspoons | Cider vinegar |
1 | Clove garlic; minced | |
⅓ | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
⅓ | teaspoon | Salt |
⅔ | dash | Red pepper flakes; to 1/2 tsp. |
1⅔ | pounds | Country-style pork ribs |
⅓ | medium | Onion; sliced |
2 | teaspoons | Sesame seeds; toasted |
2 | teaspoons | Chopped green onions |
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Add ribs and turn to coat. Place the onion in a 5-quart slow cooker; arrange ribs on top. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160 to 170 degrees. Place ribs on a serving platter; sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Yield: 6 servings.
