Southern black eyed peas w/rice and tomato

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 can (no. 300) black eyed peas
1 can (no. 300) stewed tomatoes
cup Cooked white rice
2 tablespoons Bacon drippings
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 medium Onion; sliced

Directions

Mix ingredients well and pour into baking dish. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 30 minutes. Garnish with crisp bacon bits, if desired.

Serves 6.
