Southern chicken breasts, with sweet potatoes

Buttered lima beans or broccoli & homemade biscuits are all you'll need to complete this down-home dinner. 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 4 chicken breast ½'s w/ bone 1 cup evaporated milk 2 tbsp. honey 1 tsp. salt ¼ tsp. nutmeg ¼ tsp. ground cloves 1 can (16 oz.) sweet potatoes in syrup, drained, reserving ¼ cup syrup ¼ cup raisins 1. In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add chicken breasts & cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes a side. Drain on paper towels. 2. Preheat oven to 350o. Arrange chicken in a 13"x9"x2" baking dish. In a small bowl, combine evaporated milk, honey, salt, nutmeg & cloves. Pour over chicken. 3. Bake 10 minutes.

Remove from oven & arrange sweet potatoes & raisins around chicken.
