Spice island butterscotch bars

1 | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
¼ | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
¾ | cup | Plus |
2 | tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
½ | cup | Molasses |
¼ | cup | Firmly packed brown sugar |
1 | Egg | |
1 | cup | Chopped nuts |
½ | pack | (12-oz) Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels |
Confectioners' sugar |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, ginger, baking soda and cloves; set aside. In large bowl, combine vegetable oil, molasses, brown sugar and egg; beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in nuts and Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels. Pour into greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Cut into 2x1-inch bars. Makes 4-½ dozen 2x1-inch bars.
