Spiced jellied apricots

1 each No. 2 1/2 can apricot halves
¼ cup Vinegar
½ cup Granulated sugar
12 eaches Cloves
1 each Stick cinnamon
1 pack Orange-flavored
Gelatin dessert

Directions

Day before: Into saucepan, drain juice from apricots. add vinegar, sugar, cloves, and cinnamon. Bring to boil add apricots; simmer 10 min. Remove apricots to 6 custard cups or individual molds. Strain syrup; add hot water to make 2 cups. Pour over gelatin dessert- stir until dissolved- pour over apricots. Refrigerate. To serve, unmold onto relish tray. Makes 6 servings. Jellied Apricot Salad: Unmold onto water cress or curly chicory. Place spoonful cottage cheese beside each mold.
