Spicy prunes

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Large prunes 1 cup water
1 cup Vinegar
1 cup Granulated sugar
1 teaspoon Ground cloves
1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions

Week or so ahead: Rinse prunes- cover with cold water- boil 10 to 12 min.; drain. Combine rest of ingredients; boil 1 min. Add prunes, bring to boil. Cool; refrigerate. Nice with poultry or roasts, or as garnish for fruit salads.
