Spinach salad with honey dressing - sl 1/90

Ingredients

| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | clove | Garlic; crushed |
| ⅓ | cup | Honey |
| ⅓ | cup | Light olive oil |
| 1 | tablespoon | Lemon juice |
| ¾ | pounds | Fresh spinach; torn |
| 8 | ounces | Can mandarin oranges; drain |
| ¾ | cup | Walnuts; coarsely chopped and toasted |
Directions
Sprinkle salt in a salad bowl; rub garlic into salt, using the back of a wooden spoon. Add honey, oil, and lemon juice to salad bowl; beat with a wire whisk. Refrigerate.
Add spinach and remaining ingredients to dressing; toss gently.
Serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings.
