Squash and apple casserole

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups Squash, butternut; cubed, cooked
cup Apples; stewed
Salt
¾ cup Sugar, brown; firmly packed
6 tablespoons Butter (or marg.)
Cinnamon, ground

Directions

Place 1 cup squash in a buttered casserole; top with ½ cup apples.

Sprinkle lightly with salt and ¼ cup sugar; dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Repeat layers twice; sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
