Stir-fried sugar snap peas with shiitake mushrooms

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 teaspoons Peanut oil
teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
¼ teaspoon Sugar
1 cup Shiitake mushrooms (abt 2oz) thickly sliced
½ pounds Sugar snap peas or snow peas (abt 2 1/2 cups) strings removed
½ teaspoon Oriental sesame oil

Directions

1. Place a wok or large cast-iron skillet over high heat for 1 minute. Add the peanut oil and turn the heat to low. Add the salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir for a few seconds to dissolve.

2. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry until they soften, about 2 minutes.

Remove from the heat and add the sesame oil. Serve hot or at room temperature.
