Sweet-and-sour hot slaw

Ingredients

1 medium Cabbage, shredded (about
2-1/2 lbs)
¾ cup Chopped onion
¾ cup Chopped green pepper
1 cup Sugar
1 cup White vinegar
teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Celery seeds
1 teaspoon Paprika
¾ teaspoon Black pepper
½ teaspoon Red pepper
Cabbage leaves

Directions

Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; set aside. Combine sugar and remaining ingredients except cabbage leaves; stir until blended. Pour over cabbage mixture; cover and chill. Drain mixture and spoon onto cabbage-lined serving bowl.
