Sweet-and-sour red cabbage

Ingredients

6 cups Shredded red cabbage
½ cup Grated apple
¾ cup Water
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Flour
4 tablespoons Vinegar
tablespoon Sugar
2 tablespoons Butter or fat

Directions

Cook the cabbage, apple, water and salt over low heat 15 minutes.

Mix the flour and vinegar until smooth and add to the cabbage with the sugar and butter or fat. Cook 15 minutes longer. Serves 6.
