Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |

1 | pounds | Smoked beef sausage OR- turkey sausage |
3 | cups | Cooked rice |
16 | ounces | Red beans or pinto beans rinsed and drained |
½ | cup | Hickory-smoked BBQ sauce |
Directions
Brown sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat; drain and return sausage to skillet. Stir in rice, beans, and sauce. Cook until thoroughly heated, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Microwave Oven Instructions: Place sausage in microproof baking dish.
Cover with waxed paper; cook on HIGH 3 minutes. Add rice, beans and sauce. Cook on HIGH 4 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring after 2 minutes.
