Tomatoes and olives in cumin dressing

6 | larges | Ripe tomatoes, thickly sliced |
2 | cups | Chopped red onions |
1 | cup | Pitted black olives |
¼ | cup | Chopped fresh watercress |
⅓ | cup | Olive oil |
2 | tablespoons | Lemon juice |
2 | teaspoons | Granulated sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
¾ | teaspoon | Ground cumin |
¼ | teaspoon | Freshly ground pepper |
Pinch turmeric |
Directions
CUMIN DRESSING
On large shallow platter or in shallow container with lid, arrange tomato slices, onions, olives and watercress.
(CUMIN DRESSING:) Combine olive oil, lemon juice, sugar, salt, cumin, pepper and turmeric. Pour dressing over vegetables. Cover and marinate at room temperature for 1 hour or in refrigerator for several hours. Makes 6 to 8 servings Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin.msn@...
