Tuna-tofu patties

½ | pounds | Tofu; (I use soft) |
1 | can | (6 1/2 oz.) tuna |
1 | \N | Egg |
½ | medium | Onion; diced |
1 | tablespoon | Tamari soy sauce |
½ | cup | Wheat germ or matza meal |
1 | teaspoon | Dried thyme |
½ | cup | Flour |
\N | \N | Oil for frying; optional |
source: The Spice and Spirit Cookbook Mash tofu in a medium sized bowl. Drain tuna and add to tofu. Add egg, onion, tamari, wheat germ, and thyme. Mix well. Form into patties. Dip patties into flour. Fry in hot oil for about ten minutes each side until brown or bake in a greased pan for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
