Turkey sausage pilaf

1 | pounds | Spicey turkey sausage |
1 | cup | Long grain rice |
1½ | cup | Chicken broth |
2 | eaches | Chicken bouillon cubes |
1 | tablespoon | Fresh chopped basil |
3 | eaches | Carrots, thinly slice |
½ | cup | Chopped celery |
1 | each | Pinch red peppercorns (or green) |
Directions
Combine onion and sausage in large non-stick skillet. Cook over medium heat; turn to brown evenly. Add reamaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Lower heat and cover; simmer 20 minutes until liquid has been absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes then fluff with fork. Jess Poling's Compu-Chef 2.0 database.
