Turkey sausage pilaf

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 each Chopped onion
1 pounds Spicey turkey sausage
1 cup Long grain rice
cup Chicken broth
2 eaches Chicken bouillon cubes
1 tablespoon Fresh chopped basil
3 eaches Carrots, thinly slice
½ cup Chopped celery
1 each Pinch red peppercorns (or green)

Directions

Combine onion and sausage in large non-stick skillet. Cook over medium heat; turn to brown evenly. Add reamaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Lower heat and cover; simmer 20 minutes until liquid has been absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes then fluff with fork. Jess Poling's Compu-Chef 2.0 database.
