Tutu wahine's christmas egg nog

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
9 larges Island eggs; separated
1 cup Sugar
1 pint Whipping cream; whipped
1 pint Milk
2 cups \"spirits\"

Directions

Whip cream and set aside. Separate eggs into two large bowls. Beat egg whites until stiff. In another bowl beat egg yolks until light; add sugar, a little at a time, beating until it is well incorporated. Add milk and spirits. Gently fold in whipped cream and finally, fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a punch bowl and dust with freshly grated nutmeg. Serves 20.
