Ingredients

1 | pounds | Fresh ripe pears, chopped |
1 | each | Lemon rind, grated |
1 | each | Orange rind, grated |
1 | pounds | Mixed dried fruit |
4 | ounces | Candied peel |
4 | ounces | Glace cherries |
4 | ounces | Dates, chopped |
2 | ounces | Flaked almonds |
1 | teaspoon | Allspice |
½ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
½ | teaspoon | Powdered ginger |
4 | tablespoons | Whisky or other liquid |
Directions
Mix all the ingredients together & let stand for 1 to 2 hours. Store in air-tight jars. Use as regular mincemeat.
