Velvet shrimp

1 | tablespoon | Butter or margarine |
½ | cup | Chopped green onions |
1 | tablespoon | Magic Seasoning Blends seafood magic ** |
1 | pounds | Medium shrimp; peeled and deveined |
½ | teaspoon | Minced garlic |
1 | cup | Heavy or whipping cream |
½ | cup | Shredded Muenster cheese |
Cooked rice or pasta; (optional) |
Directions
** or ½ teaspoon each salt, dry mustard, ground red pepper and basil, and ¼ teaspoon each garlic powder and thyme 1. Heat 10-inch skillet over high heat 1 minute. Add butter. Stir in green onions and 2 teaspoons seasoning mix; cook 1 minute. Add shrimp ad garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes. Stir in cream and remaining seasoning mix; cook 1 minute. Remove shrimp with slotted spoon.
2. Boil cream in same skillet, whisking constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in cheese, then shrimp. Serve with hot cooked rice or pasta, if desired.
It's the cream plus the cheese that makes the sauce velvety.
