Ingredients

1 | cup | Shortening |
⅓ | cup | Sugar |
3 | cups | Flour |
½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
3 | Egg yolks | |
½ | cup | Orange juice |
Directions
Mix shortening, sugar, baking powder and flour in bowl. Add egg yolks and orange juice. Knead in bowl. (Add a bit more flour, if needed.) Divide into 4 balls and roll ¼ inch out into a rectangle.
Sprinkle cinnamon, sugar and chopped nuts or spread with jelly and nuts. Roll up and cut into ¾ inch pieces. Bake on cookie sheet 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. (Watch Carefully!) You may roll up 3-4 times over, cut and roll rest up, thus making two rolls or more from each ball. Submitted By BARRY WEINSTEIN On 03-16-95
