Ingredients

1 | cup | All-Bran¨ Cereal |
1 | cup | Sugar |
1 | cup | Candied fruit; mixed fruitcake type |
1 | cup | Milk; (use skimmed for vlf) |
1 | cup | Self-rising flour |
Directions
Mix All-bran, sugar, and fruit in a bowl, pour on milk, and let stand for 45 minutes. Add sifted flour and mix well. Grease a 2 lb loaf tin and line it with greaseproof paper. Fill with mixture and bake about 1½ hour in centre of oven at 325 F, Mark 3.
