1 teaspoon Baking soda
¾ teaspoon Salt
2 cups Flour
1 cup Oats, quick
½ cup Sugar, brown, packed
3 tablespoons Flour
3 tablespoons Oats
½ cup Margarine or butter
1 cup Mashed bananas ( about 2)
¼ cup Milk
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 larges Eggs
3 tablespoons Brown sugar
3 tablespoons Margarine or butter

Directions

TOPPING

Preheat oven to 350 f. grease a 9 by 5 loaf pan. in large bowl mix baking powder, soda, salt, 2 cups flour, oats, and sugar until blended. With pastry cutter, cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. stir in mashed bananas milk, vanilla, eggs just until flour is blended, spoon batter into pan. Prepare topping by mixing until blended. Sprinkle crumb topping over batter. bake 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until toothpicks come clean. cool in pan 10 minutes, remove from pan, finish cooling. each serving 215 calories. 9 gm fat, 27 mg. cholesterol, 290 mg sodium Submitted By KATHERINE WALDEN On 10-04-94
