Blueberry grunt

2 cups Blueberries
½ cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Lemon juice
2 cups Flour
4 teaspoons Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Sugar
¼ cup Shortening
¾ cup Milk

Directions

Put the blueberries, ½ cup of sugar, lemon juice and 1 cup of water into a pan and bring to boil, stirring continuously. Boil for 3 minutes. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the 2 tbsp sugar. Cut in the fat and mix with milk to make a soft dough.
