Broiled tomatoes with dill sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 Large; firm tomatoes
Butter or margarine
½ cup Sour cream
¼ cup Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Chopped onion
¼ teaspoon Dill
¼ teaspoon Salt
Pepper to taste

Directions

Cut tomatoes in half and core. Dot tomato halves with butter and broil 3 inches from heat for 5 minutes. Make sauce with remaining ingredients and spoon on tomato halves. Sauce may be served at room temperature or heated.

Yield: 6 servings.
