½ | cup | Japanese Soy Sauce |
½ | cup | Tomato Catsup |
½ | cup | Dry Sherry |
3 | Cloves Garlic -- crushed | |
1 | teaspoon | Ground Ginger |
½ | teaspoon | Pepper -- freshly ground |
Directions
1. In a medium bowl, stir all ingredients until combined. Ccver and refrigerate until ready to use. (The sauce can be prepared up to 3 days ahead, covered, and refrigerated.) Note: This sauce shows the influence of Asian ranch cooks. Makes about 1½ cups from Hearst Ranches of San Simeon, CA.
