Chocolate cookie squares

Ingredients

2 | cups | Semi sweet chocolate chips |
1 | can | Sweetened condensed milk |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
2¼ | cup | Brown sugar, lightly packed |
2 | Eggs | |
2 | teaspoons | Vanilla |
2 | cups | Flour |
1 | cup | Chopped pecans |
1 | cup | Melted butter or margarine |
Directions
Heat the chocolate chips, milk and butter together over low heat until smooth. Set aside. Combine the brown sugar and eggs. Add the melted butter and vanilla. Mix well. Add the flour and nuts. Combine.
Using ½ of the dough, press into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Pour filling evenly over dough and dot remaining ½ dough over to form top. Bake in a 350 F oven for 30-35 miutes or until golden brown.
Cool completely before cutting or filling will ooze out and make a mess. Makes 24.
