Chocolate rum frosting

¼ cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened
8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
16 ounces Powdered sugar, divided
3 ounces Melted unsweetened chocolate
¼ cup Rum
Milk, if needed

Directions

With electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add half the powdered sugar and the chocolate; mix well. On low speed, add remaining powdered sugar and rum; beat until mixture is of spreading consistency, adding a few drops of milk if it is too thick. Use as directed to frost chocolate rum cake.
