Ingredients

½ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Baking Soda |
2 | teaspoons | Baking Powder |
1 | tablespoon | Sugar -or- Honey |
1 | Egg | |
1 | tablespoon | Vegetable Oil |
1 | cup | Buttermilk -or- Sour Milk (1 cup Lowfat Milk + 1 tablespoon vinegar) |
Directions
Combine the cornmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder in a bowl.
Mix well.
Pour into a lightly oiled 8-inch-square baking pan.
Bake in a 400-degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
