Easy sweet delicious strawberry preserves

2 pints Strawberries, hulled
3 cups Sugar

Directions

"Strawberry preserves on hot biscuits....oh my..." Combine berries and 1½ cups sugar in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil, uncovered 10 minutes. Add remaining sugar and boil 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until mixture reaches 221 degrees on a candy thermometer. Skim foam.

Cool, cover, and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Spoon into clean jars and refrigerate.
