Everyday herb rice

½ | tablespoon | Dried celery flakes |
2 | tablespoons | Dried parsley |
½ | teaspoon | Dried garlic flakes |
1 | tablespoon | Dried green pepper flakes |
½ | teaspoon | Ground tumeric |
1 | tablespoon | Chicken flavored granules or bouillion |
1 | teaspoon | Sugar |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | pinch | Ground cloves |
½ | cup | Wild OR brown rice |
2½ | cup | Water |
1 | cup | Chopped scallion, green with some white |
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, water, and the herb mixture. Bring to a boil, partially cover, lower the heat, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the rice is cooked. Fluff with a fork. Fold in the scallions and serve at once.
