Fruit and nut cheese ball

Ingredients

8 | ounces | Shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
⅓ | cup | Butter or margarine, softened |
1 | Tbps parisienne mustard | |
1 | tablespoon | Milk |
1 | teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
½ | teaspoon | Onion powder |
⅛ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
⅔ | cup | Chopped mixed dried fruit, divided |
⅓ | cup | Sliced almonds, toasted |
Directions
In food processor or with an electric mixer, process or mix first 7 ingredients until smooth. Stir in ⅓ cup of the mixed dried fruit.
Chill 30 minutes. Shape into a ball. Roll in amixture of the remaining dried fruit and almonds, pressing gently to make fruit and almonds adhere. Chill for up to 2 days. Makes 1 cheese ball, 12 servings.
Store in refrigerator. Let stand at room temperature one hour before serving. Serve with assorted crackers.
