Garlic green beans

2 | pounds | Fresh green beans |
1 | cup | Water |
¼ | cup | Butter or margarine |
4 | eaches | Cloves garlic, minced |
¼ | teaspoon | Lemon-pepper seasoning |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt-free herb seasoning |
⅓ | cup | Chopped fresh parsley |
Directions
Wash the beans and trim the ends. Bring the water to a boil in a Dutch oven. Add the beans and return to a boil; cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain and keep warm. Melt the butter in the Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until tender. Stir in the seasonings. Add the beans and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Spoon into a serving dish and sprinkle with parsley. Makes 8 servings.
