Garlic green beans - sl 11/94

Ingredients

2 pounds Fresh green beans
1 cup ;water
¼ cup Butter or margarine
4 cloves Garlic; minced
¼ teaspoon Lemon-pepper seasoning
¼ teaspoon Salt-free herb seasoning
cup Fresh parsley; chopped

Directions

Was beans, and remove ends.

Bring water to a boil in a Dutch oven. Add beans; return to a boil, cover, and simmer 10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain and keep warm.

Melt butter in Dutch oven over medium heat; add garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, until tender. Stir in seasonings. Add beans; cook, stirring constantly, 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Spoon into a serving dish; sprinkle with parsley.

Yield: 8 servings.
