Glazed cinnamon bars

Ingredients

1 | cup | Butter or margarine |
1 | cup | C and H Golden Brown Sugar (firmly packed) |
1 | Egg; separated | |
1 | dash | Salt |
1¾ | cup | All-purpose flour |
3 | teaspoons | Cinnamon |
½ | cup | C and H Powdered Sugar unsifted Chopped walnuts, or up to.. |
1 | cup | Chopped walnuts |
Directions
Combine butter, sugar, egg yolk and salt. Beat until creamy. Stir in flour and cinnamon. Mix well. Spread thick batter into lightly greased 15 x 10-inch pan. Beat egg white until foamy. Stir in powdered sugar. Brush sugar mixture over batter. Sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 350 degree oven 30 to 35 minutes. While hot, cut into 48 bars. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
