Good ol' garlicky cheese grits

Ingredients

4 | cups | Water |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | cup | Grits |
½ | cup | Butter or oleo |
½ | A; (6 ounce) roll garlic cheese | |
1 | cup | Grated sharp cheddar cheese |
2 | Eggs plus enough milk to equal 1 cup | |
Black pepper |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring water and salt to a boil; add grits; simmer until done. Add butter, cheeses, and pepper, stirring until melted.
In a large measuring cup, beat eggs and add milk to equal one cup. Blend into grits, and pour into a 2-quart casserole.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until light brown on top.
Yield: 4 to 6 servings
