Heather's baked beans

Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |

3 | cups | Dried white beans |
2 | larges | Yellow onions; (Maui or Vidalia are great), chopped |
6 | slices | Bacon; diced |
4 | tablespoons | Dark molasses |
3 | tablespoons | Ketchup |
1 | tablespoon | Apple cider vinegar |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
Place beans in a large (not plastic) bowl and cover with boiling water with at least 1". Soak overnight. Drain, rinse and cook in a new pot of water until tender. Take out 1 cup of the water and reserve. Then drain and rinse the beans. Put beans in a baking pan (or you can use a crockpot) with onions and bacon. Mix reserved bean water with remaining ingredients and pour over beans. Bake at 350 until the beans are hot and bubbly.
