Honey mushrooms w/savory, thyme, and chicken

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 tablespoons Butter
1 medium Onion(s), chopped
1 pounds Honey mushrooms
Or substitute shiitakes
Caps only, cleaned
¾ cup Sour cream
Or creme fraÂŚche
1 teaspoon Dried thyme
1 teaspoon Dried savory
¼ teaspoon Sugar
Salt and pepper
cup Cooked chicken off the bone
2 tablespoons Parsley, finely chopped

Directions

Heat the butter in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add the onion and saute for 1 min. Add the mushrooms and continue to saute until the mushrooms sweat and release their liquid into the pan, about 5 min.

Add the sour cream or creme fraŒche and stir to blend with the mushrooms. Add the thyme, savory, and sugar and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Mix in the chicken, and let the mixture simmer until it thickens, about 2 min. Stir in the parsley, spoon mixture over the starch of your choice, and serve.
