Ingredients

1 | can | (16-oz) sliced peaches; drained |
1 | can | (16-oz) pear halves; drained, chopped |
1 | can | (16-oz) purple plums; drained, pitted |
1 | can | (20-oz) pineapple chunks; drained |
1 | Jar (6-oz) maraschino cherries; drained | |
2 | Bananas; sliced | |
¾ | cup | Brown sugar |
⅓ | cup | Butter or margarine |
1 | can | (16-oz) applesauce |
3 | tablespoons | Brown sugar |
½ | cup | Chopped pecans |
Directions
Combine first six ingredients in 13x9x2-inch casserole. Set aside. Combine sugar, butter & applesauce in saucepan & heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Spoon over fruit. Sprinkle with brown sugar & pecans. Bake at 300 for 1 hour. Serve hot. (May be prepared ahead & frozen. To serve, thaw overnight in refrigerator.) Serves 12.
