Lime sherbet - country cooking

Ingredients

¾ | cup | Lime juice |
½ | cup | Sugar |
1 | tablespoon | Lemon juice |
Pinch of salt | ||
2 | cups | Milk |
Directions
1. Chill the container of an ice-cream maker or a 13 by 9-inch baking pan in the freezer.
2. In medium-size bowl, combine lime juice, sugar, lemon juice, and salt until sugar dissolves, Stir in milk until well blended.
3. Pour mixture into chilled container of ice-cream maker and process following manufacturer's directions, or pour into chilled baking pan and freeze until almost firm-1½ to 2 flours, depending on freezer temperature.
4. If freezing in pan, cut frozen mixture into squares. With heavy-duty electric mixer or food processor, beat until smooth. Pack into freezer containers for storage.
