Low-fat passover granola (adjusted)

⅔ | cup | Honey *see note 1 |
¼ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
½ | cup | Raisins |
¼ | cup | Pitted dates; sliced *see note 2 |
¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
I posted this recipe yesterday, but I made it again today and adjusted it because I thought the baking time was too long and it got too brown. Here's the adjusted recipe.
Source: Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel 3/17/99 (Adapted slightly) note 1 - I heated the honey slightly to thin it note 2 - I used prunes, cut into pieces Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Place ingredients in a large bowl, stirring with a spoon until well mixed. Using a nonstick shallow baking pan, spread mixture evenly inside pan. Bake for 45-60 minutes, stirring every so often, until mixture browns slightly. (Watch carefully after 40 minutes to make sure it does not get too brown. It will still get crisp after it is removed from the oven.) Cool. Store in an airtight container.
