Mince meat for tarts or pies

Ingredients

4 | ounces | Raisins |
4 | ounces | Currants |
4 | ounces | Prunes |
2 | ounces | Mixed peel |
4 | ounces | Brown sugar |
4 | ounces | Suet |
1 | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
1 | teaspoon | Spice |
¼ | cup | Rum |
½ | cup | Wine |
2 | tablespoons | Lime juice |
1 | tablespoon | Lime rind. |
Directions
chop fruit and suet finely. Add sugar, spices, rum, wine, lime juice and grated ring. Mix well togehter. Put into glass jars, cover closely and allow to stand about 3 weeks before using.
