Mom's ammonia cookies

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Shortening
1 teaspoon Salt
1 ounce Baker's ammonia
2 cups Milk
2½ cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Oil of lemon
Enough flour to make soft dough

Directions

Dust with sugar, cut and bake.
