Mom's fruit sip

Ingredients

1 | Bottle apple-cherry juice | |

3 | 3-inch cinnamon sticks | |
½ | cup | Dried apples |
½ | cup | Dried chopped dates |
½ | cup | Raisins |
2 | teaspoons | Vanilla extract |
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Bring to a simmer and remove from the heat. Allow to cool. Keep in the refrigerator overnight. Drain the liquid through a strainer or double layer of cheesecloth into a bowl. Pour the liquid into a glass bottle. Cap the bottle tightly. Store in the refrigerator. May be served hot or cold.
Makes about six 8oz servings.
