Mom's white clam sauce #2

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Olive oil
4 cloves Garlic; minced
¾ cup Parsley; chopped
½ teaspoon Black pepper
48 Littleneck clams

Directions

Heat the oil in a large pot. Simmer together the first four ingredients for about 2 minutes. Add the clams, cover and simmer until shells open about 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
