Mom's white clam sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 tablespoons Olive oil
4 tablespoons Butter
2 cloves Garlic; minced
2 tablespoons Shallots; minced
¼ teaspoon Black pepper; fresh ground
½ cup Parsley; chopped
3 cans Minced clams; 6 1/2oz each,
. including 1/2 cup juice

Directions

Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet. Add the garlic and shallots, and saute until golden. Add the remaining ingredients, heat thoroughly and serve over pasta.
