6 | eaches | Green onions; chopped |

4 | slices | Bacon; minced |
Directions
Fry bacon crisp in heavy pan, then remove bacon. Cook onions in fat. When onions are slightly wilted, add beans, stir well, cook one minute. Add one tablespoon water, cover, cook three minutes, then uncover. Beans should be bright green. Stir over burner until done to taste- about two to three minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and add crisp bacon just before serving.
