Peta applesauce bran breakfast cake

Ingredients

¼ | cup | Margerine |
2 | cups | Applesauce; sweet or unsweet |
1 | cup | Flour; unbleached |
1½ | cup | Unprocessed wheat bran flakes or oat bran |
1 | cup | Sugar |
1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
½ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
¼ | teaspoon | Cloves |
1 | cup | Raisins |
1 | cup | Nuts; chopped |
Directions
Preheat the oven 350. Grease the bottom only of a 9 inch square baking pan.
In a large saucepan, heat the margerine and applesauce together over med heat until the margerine is just melted, then remove from heat.
Add the remaining ingredients, stir quickly to moisten, then pour the batter into the baking pan.
Bake 25-30 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
