Peter's favorite oatmeal crispies

Ingredients

1 | pounds | Margarine |
2 | cups | Sugar |
1 | Egg | |
2 | cups | Flour |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
4 | cups | Quick oatmeal |
Powdered sugar |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
Melt margarine, pour into large mixing bowl. Add sugar and egg, mix well.
Mix in flour, salt, soda and oatmeal. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with fork. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes, or until light brown.
Place on drying racks, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
