Quick chicken a la king

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons Butter
¼ cup All-purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Skim milk; up to 1 1/2 cups
½ cup Chicken broth can mushroom stems and pieces
1 Garlic clove; minced
2 cups Cooked chicken; cut into chunks
¼ cup Chopped red bell pepper
2 tablespoons Dry sherry
4 Pre-baked pastry shells
Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Directions

In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour, salt and pepper to taste. Add milk and chicken broth. Stir and cook until thickened and bubbly. Add mushrooms and garlic. Stir in chicken, red pepper and dry sherry. Heat through. Spoon into pre-cooked shells. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
