Rutabaga mash

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Rutabaga; peeled/cut in chunks
2 Carrots; sliced
1 Clove garlic; sliced
½ cup Warm milk
1 tablespoon Margarine
¾ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Grated nutmeg
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Chopped parsley

Directions

In a saucepan over high heat, bring rutabaga, carrots, garlic and enough water to cover to a boil. Reduce heat to med. and simmer 30-35 mins. or until tender. Drain well and return to pot. Add next 5 ingredients. Mash with potato masher. Stir in parsley.
